ServiceMaster Mercia team come together and go above and beyond to raise support foe their colleague and friend

This past Saturday marked a proud and heartwarming moment for all of us at ServiceMaster Mercia, as our team, alongside friends and family, came together for a cause close to our hearts. In a powerful display of unity and compassion, we completed a 5K charity walk in support of our cherished colleague, Donna, who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Despite the rainy weather, the spirit of the event was truly uplifting. With smiles, determination, and a shared sense of purpose, our team showed what ServiceMaster Mercia is all about: community, care, and commitment. Thanks to the incredible generosity of those who participated and donated, we successfully raised enough funds to provide Donna with a mobility scooter, helping her regain a level of independence in her daily life.

In addition to the walk, our Director, Mark Harden also took part in the Sutton Fun Run on 1st June, alongside friend and supporter Joe McDermott, to further raise awareness for Donna’s journey and to continue rallying support from the wider community.

This initiative reflects the strong culture we’ve cultivated at ServiceMaster Mercia — one that goes beyond the workplace to truly support one another through life’s challenges. Donna’s strength and resilience have inspired us all, and the response from the team was nothing short of remarkable.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and spread the word. Your kindness has made a real difference.
